Outland and after that Northrend, does it ever end?

I had two level 80 characters and about four level 70 characters that I just couldn’t finish leveling. By the time I got to Northrend I was already feeling sick of leveling and just couldn’t go on with it anymore. Not to mention how much time it took me as I was still raiding and doing arena with my level 80 characters, and reaching level 80 with my alts just seemed like a mission impossible at that point.
