Penn’s Ultimate profession guide!

So you have reached level 80 and you are about to embark the road of the PvE or PvP glory, or maybe even both? Maybe you just want to earn some gold? Well this review will give you an insight into how to do it but first let me tell you a story...

If you want to be the best in PvP and PvE you will notice that some professions will give you advantages for your class and spec over others, and with some professions you can even earn vast amounts of gold if you utilize them properly. When I say 'advantages' I actually mean a proper boost by unique enchants, gems or passive bonuses.

For example if you’re going for PvE progression as a tank, mining and blacksmithing will probably be your best option or even, mining and jewlcrafting, but the problem is, when you have totally different professions, or you actually have none. Skilling up your professions can be very hard and expensive not to mention how much time and effort it can take!

I speak from my own personal experience – when I started leveling my paladin I took mining and blacksmithing which wasn’t a bad choice overall but sometime after I became a healer, and as such I had no use for mining.

In TBC alchemy trinket was by far one of the best healing trinkets you can get and as a mining didn’t really give me any boost for my role in raids I decided to drop it for alchemy, than again in Wrath of the Lich King I once again decided do swap and get Jewlcrafting which offered a really large boost by unique Jewlcrafting gems.

The amount of money and time I have spent rerolling professions was just insane! Soon enough I had to do similar thing with my Death knight and as I was already low on gold, I just couldn’t do it anymore. One of my guild mates then told me that it is really easy, fast and cheap to do it if you just follow a guide.

So I scanned the net looking for a good profession guide and I was about to give up as most of them didn’t give real help, and then I saw Penn’s Ultimate Profession guide!
