As you’re probably aware, Rogues are the most hated of all PvP classes. That’s because they can take down most any foe, leaving them staggering around like a fool and unable to defend themselves, regardless of that foe’s class. Still, no class is invulnerable, and understanding your Rogue’s many strengths and few weaknesses will surely make you even more annoying to your player versus player foes. First we’ll talk about your strengths.
Rogue PvP Strengths
I’ll say it right out. Rogues are perhaps the most effective and most feared of all PvP classes. Choosing your greatest strength is hard because you have so many of them. If you can learn to execute them properly, your Stunlocks are brutal. A well-executed stunlock can leave your opponent immobilized or staggering around in a daze, and make them easy pickings for you and your teammates. Learn to do this right, and if you have a good Rogue PvP build, few will be able to stand up to you.
Many would say that your poisoning skills are your greatest strength. Even when your enemies run away, you’ve got options. Use your Crippling Poison to slow them down, and your Mind Numbing Poison to mess up their spell casting. Combine these with the rest of a Rogue’s abilities and you’ll drive your enemies to distraction as you terminate them.
Rogue PvP Weaknesses
One big weakness of being a Rogue in large battles is that other players don’t like you very much. Any player who has seen their character stunlocked into immobility while being pounded to death, or poisoned into stumbling incompetence has a score to settle with Rogues. This can make you a target, as most players will happily help when it comes to taking out an enemy Rogue.
Beyond the fact that everyone hates you, your character’s biggest weakness is the complexity of executing a stunlock. Mess this up, perhaps because a Hunter’s pet is chewing on you, or a Shaman gets an Earthshield up, and you’ll be vulnerable to attack. Beyond that, remember that you have only melee attacks, so if a ranged fighter manages to keep you at a distance, they can tear you up with impunity.
These are just the basics of Rogue strategy, strengths, and weaknesses in PvP. Most decent players can do well in PvP with just basic Rogue strategy. But to really dominate you need more than that. You’ll need to have an excellent Rogue PvP build, and a great Rogue strategy. A Rogue PvP guide will give you far more information on every aspect of playing a Rogue, including specific advice on talent builds, gear selection, and taking out any class of opponent.
Really understanding your Rogue PvP strengths and weaknesses is a great way to improve your performance. To learn more about this and other PvP techniques in a guide that has helped others generate a 2214 Arena Rating in weeks, just Click Here.

Many people play their Warriors as armored brutes who mindlessly charge into battle, hoping to get close enough to the enemy to slash, bash, or otherwise mangle their opponents. But if you really want to be successful in PvP with this character class, there’s much more you need to know. The best Warriors know that the first secret to dominating with this character class is understanding your character’s own PvP strengths and weaknesses so you can determine your strategy against your opponents.
Warrior Strengths in PvP Combat
Your character has an incredible amount of stamina, enabling them to keep fighting long after lesser classes would be dead. And once they get close, your Warrior can repeatedly deliver massive bursts of damage to take your opponent down in seconds.
But your character has another, more subtle, advantage. Your Warrior has the ability to do basic crowd control with skills like Demoralizing Shout and Piercing Howl. These are part of a repertoire of skills that helps your keep your foes within arms reach long enough for your Warrior to destroy them.
Warrior Weaknesses in PvP Combat
While few characters can stand up to your Warrior in hand-to-hand combat, several classes can tear you apart without letting you get close enough to harm them. Your Warrior is relatively slow and doesn’t have any real counter to ranged fighters like Hunters or Mages. The need to learn how to get within weapons range of such foes is one of the biggest weaknesses of your character and a true secret to PvP success.
At the most basic level, those are the PvP Strengths and Weaknesses of your Warrior. To learn more, including how to deal with all those wimps that pick you to death while staying just out of sword’s reach, you’ll want to consult with a quality PvP guide.

Knowing the PvP combat strengths and weaknesses of your Druid is the most fundamental secret of success in World of Warcraft Player versus Player combat. It’s the foundation on which to build all the sophisticated strategies and tricky tactics that you’ve heard about or maybe even had applied against you. No matter how much fancy stuff you know, you’ll only have limited success if you don’t get the basics right. Here’s a quick look at your Druid’s basic PvP strengths and weaknesses.
Druid PvP Strengths
Believe me, when played well Druids don’t go down easily. Their ability to change forms in mid-battle allows them to break out of most crowd control effects. Their combination of melee ability and healing skills means that they can stand in and deal some punishment when hand-to-hand action is called for. This versatility means that your Druid has the ability to respond to whatever situation develops during a PvP battle.
Druid PvP Weaknesses
Unfortunately, this versatility can also be your character’s undoing. To get the best performance out of your character, you’ll need to adjust your tactics for each class of opponent. As a jack of all trades but master of none, your Druid will never be as good at anything as a specialist, so you’ll have to be flexible to defeat them. Druids really have to understand not only their own strengths and weaknesses, but those of each foe so you can fight them effectively.
Now you know the basic strengths and weaknesses of your Druid. Unfortunately, there’s much more to learn if you really want to dominate other players with your Druid. The fastest and most sensible way to learn what you need to know is to get yourself a professional PvP guide. Such a guide will tell you what you need to know and save you the time and effort you would need to figure all this out on your own.

If you’ve ever been involved in martial arts, fencing, or any other organized hand-to-hand combat system, you know there’s far more to success than simply flailing away at your opponent. Speed and precision are at least as important as size and strength. The same is true in WoW PvP combat. When opponents are well matched, every second counts, and any mistake can have dire consequences. Let’s face it, swinging a little piece of plastic madly across your desk is not the fastest or most precise way to get things done. This is where macros come into the picture for gamers.
So what is a macro? In WoW, a macro is a set of commands that correspond to commands you could give with the mouse and keyboard. Here’s an example of a command you might see in a macro:
/cast Faerie Fire
As you probably guessed, this command tells your character to cast the Faerie Fire spell. It has the same effect as clicking on the Faerie Fire icon in your character’s Spellbook or on an Action Bar. Each macro consists of one or more commands that are grouped together and attached to a button on one of the Action Bars. When you click the icon for the macro, the game runs all the commands (if possible) in the macro.
Although there are some gotchas and details to look out for, a macro can execute most of the commands and actions you would normally do using the mouse and the keyboard. The speed and precision of macros makes them ideal for PvP combat, the place in the game where you need the most speed and accuracy and are under the most pressure.
If you haven’t experienced it for yourself, you don’t really know how intense PvP combat can get. It doesn’t take much of a mistake to get your character killed, and it isn’t any fun. The ability to execute a full attack sequence, or perform some other complex set of actions with a single mouse click can make all the difference in a tough battle.
Understanding and using macros in WoW PvP is an often-ignored secret to massively improving your results. To learn more about using macros and other secrets of Warcraft PvP success, just Click Here.

Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your own character is the fundamental secret of success in Warcraft PvP combat. Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that’s all you need to know, or even close to it. But if you don’t really understand your Warlock’s basic PvP strengths and weaknesses, nothing else will matter much. Since this is so important, let’s look at the PvP strengths and weaknesses of a Warlock.
Warlock PvP Strengths
I can tell you from personal experience that Warlocks can be formidable opponents in PvP combat. Your character’s greatest strength is the way they can DoT and crowd control. In plain English, your character’s strength is the way they can cause their enemies to lose health over a period of time, then cause the victim to run around out of control as they die.
Another strength of your Warlock when going against magic users is the Felhunter. Target this pet at an enemy caster and you’ll make his life miserable.
Warlock PvP Weaknesses
Fortunately for your opponents, your Warlock does also have weaknesses in PvP combat. Mages (and others) can break your Fear spells and counter your Damage over Time spells. Against these pests, you’ll need to have spells that apply all their damage immediately. You’re also going to need more mana against these, so mana-replenishing spells like Life Tap will prevent you from running out of mana before your foe does. If you run out of mana, you’re dead.
That covers the basic PvP Strengths and Weaknesses of your Warlock. But there’s much more to learn if you really want to dominate PvP. You can eventually gain the information you need yourself, but a quality PvP guide will tell you everything you need to know, including specific instructions for dealing with foes that can counter your primary attacks.
