As all avid players of World of Warcraft know, Gold is an extremely important commodity in WOW. More powerful equipment is essential for you to be successful in WOW, and to get it you must have gold. This is why I am sure that as a World of Warcraft: the Wrath of the Lich King player you will appreciate these tips to earn more gold in the game.

I want to address something before I move forward with this article: There are illegal websites out there selling gold. Buying from them will just get you banned from the game, so don’t do it. The first way involves picking a gathering profession for your character. You can make a good amount of money with these professions.

Mining is one such profession. The engineer and blacksmith characters in wow will need the raw materials that can be provided by the miners to create weapons and armor. To get some iron and mithril you can go to the Arathi Highlands. There is plenty of thorium and Arcane to be had at Eastern Plaguelands and the Burning Steppes.

Another profession that’s great for the gold seeker is skinning. Get to the Stranglethorn Vale and kill creatures and do quests. You will end up with lot’s of skins.

Next let’s have a chat about fishing. It’s a great profession to make gold with. This especially holds true if you fish for pearls. 10 gold is what you are going to get for a stack of black pearls. You will only need 1 golden pearl to earn yourself a nice sum of 30 gold.

Another great profession is herbalism. If you want to earn the big cash, go for plagueblooms in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands. Another option is to try and get ghost mushrooms in the Hinterlands.

A great idea is to combine the gathering profession that you chose with a service profession. You will be able to craft the raw materials that you gather into all kinds of items.

2 professions that work great when combined are herbalism and alchemy. Just use the alchemy profession to create potions from the herbs that you collect with the herbalism profession.

You can also try combining skinning and leatherworking together. Gather the leather with the skinning profession, and make the armor with the leatherworking profession. You can save a lot of gold by doing that. And you can earn gold by selling what you make to other players.

As you can see, buying gold from websites is unnecessary. Just by choosing and utilizing the right professions, you can make all the gold you need.
